After years of having it on my travel wishlist, I finally made my way to Mexico City. It was the perfect destination to kick off the new year— filled with fresh fruit, 70 degree weather and so many amazing colors on every street corner.
If you didn’t already know– I lead the photoshoot styling and art direction as well as marketing for Noble and have for the past three years. So this was quite a special trip, the perfect backdrop for our upcoming Spring / Summer 2024 collection and opportunity to become well-acquainted with the city.
We collaborated with Casa OK for one of our shoot days— the sweetest shop filled with artisan home decor and objects that are 100% made in Mexico. Every surface area of Amy’s cozy space is thoughtfully curated. After we wrapped up from the shoot, I couldn’t help but stock up on some goodies for myself to bring home.
With only so much room in my suitcase, I opted for her best-selling checkered ash tray as well as these incredible squiggle candle sconces for our living room.

We ventured out to Proyecto Rufina where I bought ceramics and a swirly pair of silver earrings that I cannot stop wearing. I also found the most amazing vintage knitted dress from Archivo Punto that I’m already planning to pack for an upcoming trip to Jamaica this Spring.

Other notable stops we loved or were on our list that we didn’t make it to this time around: Vintage Hoe, Aurelia Concept Store, Banzo.
I don’t think we had a bad meal on our trip but by far the stand out spots were Cariñito Tacos, Marmota and Vigneron for a glass of natural wine.
I shot three rolls of film in six days but could have easily run through five or more. My favorite set of images was taken strolling through Mercado de Jamaica— I’ve recently been shooting with Kodak Portra 400 film on my Pentax 70 Zoom and found the colors really popped.

I can’t share all the images yet but here are some photoshoot sneak peeks and other scenes I loved on film.

I didn’t have a ton of extra time to document my outfits but I opted for neutrals, skirts & dresses for easy movement and layers as the temperature climbed through the day.
