Spring Things
Six fixations for a new season.
This time last year, I was listening to Silver Springs by Fleetwood Mac on repeat as I packed up our life in Maine, wearing this skirt from Allina Liu with most of my outfits and desperately waiting for a change of scenery. I love uncovering what my current fixation is going to be for the season, without fail, a handful of things will hold my attention.
Styling my dream bag

I’ve had this Santa Croce Small Woven Leather-Tote by Dragon Diffusion on my wishlist ever since I first saw my friend Liz of Elodie Studios wearing it two years ago— reminiscent of the beautiful Bottega Veneta tote.
Curating a wishlist of items has been so helpful as I continue to define my personal style and curb any impulse spending. There’s no worry if I’ll still like something six months from now because it’s already been sitting in my collection for over a year. Dark brown accessories have become such a staple in my closet so it felt like it was the right time to give my most worn bag a break.
2. Neil Young & Joni Mitchell are back on Spotify
I understand the last couple of years that Neil & Joni were MIA from Spotify I could be listening to their records on vinyl, but I won’t act like I’m above convenience. This past week, I’ve created a ritual of lighting incense right when I wake up, brewing a pot of coffee and deep diving into their discographies all over again. Most played tracks since their return:
Neil Young:
Joni Mitchell:
California
3. Sunsets at home

Almost a year of enjoying this incredible view from our bay window. We have so many tall trees and amazing birds surrounding our home and within our neighborhood, Atlanta really is the city in the forest.
“No wonder humans are drawn to places where the birds feel safe enough to sing.” - Earth’s Wild Music by Kathleen Dean Moore
4. The most comfortable denim I own

These Le Bon Shoppe ‘Arc Pant’ remind me of a Japanese inspired-denim mixed with the Barrel Jean silhouette that’s trending right now. I could sleep in these pants (shout out to the elastic waist) and I already know it’ll be hard for me not to reach for these everyday purely based off of that, I’m completely hooked.
5. Lace bags for produce
Lace reusable storage bags via Etsy.
I know we’re all well-stocked on tote bags but these lace mesh produce bags are calling my name for the upcoming Farmer’s Market season AKA my favorite time of the year <3
6. The Secret Garden (1993)

Nostalgic from my childhood, this film will always remind me of Spring’s awakening and the beauty hidden in plain sight. Also, who doesn’t want to unlock a mysterious secret garden with the most perfect-looking key?
Until next time,
xo, Paige
